Starletz Theatre & Books: Standard Terms and Conditions of Sale

1. General

The client explicitly waives its own standard terms and conditions, even if these were drawn up after these standard terms and conditions of sale. In order to be valid, any derogation must be expressly agreed to in advance in writing by Starletz Theatre & Books.

2. Payment Terms

  • Method: Payments are made via the provided M-Pesa Paybill (544 700) AND Account No (1016378654) or direct bank transfer to our Unaitas bank account (1016378654).
  • Timing: For online orders, payment is due immediately at checkout to initiate the processing of the order.
  • Late Payment: For bulk printing or mass publishing services, invoices are payable within 21 working days. In the event of non-payment by the due date, Starletz Theatre & Books reserves the right to request a fixed interest payment of 10% and may suspend services without prior warning.

3. Processing and Dispatch

  • Verification: Orders are considered "Active" only after the customer provides a valid M-Pesa confirmation MESSAGE or bank transfer SCREENSHOT to our official contact channels (WhatsApp +254 728 638 801).
  • Timeframe: Starletz Theatre & Books undertakes to do its best to supply services in due time. Standard orders (Digital and Physical) will be processed and dispatched within 24-48 hours once payment is verified.
  • Obligation: Our obligations are to supply performant services, but cannot be considered an obligation to achieve specific results beyond the delivery of the goods purchased.

4. Digital Products (PDFs & Audiobooks)

  • Due to the nature of digital content, all sales of PDFs and Audiobooks are final once the download link has been dispatched to the client's email.

5. Claims and Disputes

  • Notification: Any claim regarding the quality of goods or services must be notified to our Customer Care Service (+254 728 638 801, +254 732 408 986)​, within 8 days of delivery.
  • Damages: Starletz Theatre & Books shall not be required to appear as a third party in any claim for damages filed against the client by an end consumer.
  • Legal: All contractual relations are governed exclusively by the Laws of Kenya.

6. Taxes and Withholding

  • The amount of the invoice is due to Starletz Theatre & Books in its entirety. Any withholding at source required by specific country legislation is the sole responsibility of the client and will not reduce the amount due to our company.
